Pilar Rojo (b. 1981, Spain) is a freelance graphic designer based in Krakow, Poland. She was a graduate in Fine Arts at the University of Valencia. Specialising in visual identity and book design, she has more than fifteen years of experience as a graphic designer of both print-based and web projects.

Specialising in visual identity and book design, she has more than fifteen years of experience as a graphic designer of both print-based and web projects.

She has worked independently and collaboratively on international culture projects including the Krakow Photomonth Festival, for which she served as Art Director for three years; and cooperates regularly with the Krakow-based Foundation for Visual Arts. She has designed more than a dozen books, including the award-winning Greetings from Auschwitz, edited by Paweł Szypulski (Foundation for Visual Arts/Edition Patrick Frey, 2015). She has also collaborated on a range of projects with institutions across Europe, including Fotostiftung Schweiz, the Winterthur Museum, Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, and the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw.

In the music field, she cooperates regularly with the publishing agency Karrot Kommando, designing for well-known Polish bands as Warsaw Village Band and Pablopavo, and she recently started cooperation with Music Export Poland designing at the Eurosonic Noorderslag ESNS Festival.
